Is it safe to download Ark on the D: Drive?
Title says it all.

I have it downloaded on the D: drive, so i guess its safe.

You can put any game you want on any drive you want. Personally I NEVER put anything on C except for Windows.

You are going to need more than that free in reality. Once the game is installed you need an amount equal to the install size free for patching..

I've got an abundance of storage in D: Drive I'm good in terms of space. Just wanted to see if it was safe since on my PC, steam defaults to downloading things into C:

Steam always defaults to C. But you can put Steam folders on any drive you want, you can even install Steam itself to another drive. Steam is on D on my computer. I have Steam folders with games installed on D:, E:, F: and K:
