Where to find Tusoteuthis on The Island..?

Is it in a set location or does it wander around? I have been looking around for it but cannot seem to find one. Does anyone have a general idea as to where to look to locate one?

There's usually only 1 or 2 on the map if anything. They're at the very edge of the map, at the bottom, all around the map

Both Mosasaur and Tuso spawn at the very edge of the ocean. It's a good idea to kill as many water dinos as you can while you circle around. Players rarely venture to the ocean as there's usually not much to gain.

They are also quite often inside of rocks, so take care.

once u do find a kraken....yea it's hell to tame or to kill, for whatever reason these squids are a passive tame and they eat food in stacks of 50 with their prefered food being black pearls (good luck getting those things) and order to tame them they need to be distracted by having a creature in their clutches so you can gain access to the squids beak

Well I found Mosas before near my base way down south/west but have not seen any squids, and as for killin water dinos that is no problem with my Barys..

Not planning on taming one at this point, I have no real need for one. Just need something from them for when I work my way up to the boss that requires some piece of them.

So anywhere at all around the edge of the map, that's a lot of looking to do :)

I found that one often spawns around carno island.

I tend to find tuso or mosa interchangeably in the corners of the map. I find most swimming circles farming pearls the old fashioned way or hunting for other things to tame. Cant count how many times looking for a good plesi crops up only mosa and tuso every other spawn point.

oh i see you need their tentacles to fight the dragon on beta or alpha....well there is 1 area on the island i know where you can find easily find those giant squid's but trust me your gonna hate this place: The Caverns of Lost Hope

that place in an underwater cave located near the swamp and if your gonna kill squids there....get prepared with some strong aquatic beasts as that place is swarming with school's of the deep sea demon's and can even house the alpha versions of the megalodon, mosasaurus and tusoteuthis

Yeah, I did that cave late last night actually, there were 3 or 4 of them in there which my Barys took care of rather nicely :)
