How do I auto run?

Im tired of holding shift and W. It’s starting to hurt and I need to know how to do an auto run button (auto sprint). It worked with caps lock but then it stopped and no longer works.

there is no autopathing feature. maybe use a macro that toggles W on and off but i dont know if having a macro is allowed.

on a side note if holding w is too much your not going to like building and pvp because thats a whole lot of resource grinding with lots of clicky clicks and tappy taps

No I mean I have to hold shift and W at the same time to sprint. How can I auto sprint?

Can't.

I use a nice nickel and a quarter for long treks..... wedge em in the keyboard.

i use my dusty brush from my grinder to hold in my keys when im smoking up.

i know of a mod that does this too with out the need to jam ♥♥♥♥ into your keyboard.

I'm surprised "autopathing" was mentioned before "right shift."

Its as close as you will get to autorun. Press the right shift key and then all you'll have to press is W.

in your options you can change the sprint feature to toggle so you can tap shift once and you will be sprinting until you tap it again. this way you will still have to hold W but not shift the whole time.

This is what the op says they were doing, but it no longer works.


To the op, have you tried resetting your controls?

New default is Right shift.

Thanks for your replies guys, but I remembered when I used to play minecraft I used to spam crouch (left shift) and it would ask for sticky keys. Switched it on and now I click it once and I’m in auto sprint while holding w. Tap it twice and it goes to walking.
