How to deal with microraptors

there like flying trodons and my guy is only lvl20 started new world recently and they are swarming next to my base if i go out exploring 10000 microraptors attack so i have to bring a mount or 2 to save me

There's nothing you can do to keep it from stunning you once its started its attack, other than killing it before it hits you. Seems like half the time it hits and runs, like the COWARDLY ******* IT IS!.....composure ....while the other times it will stick around to peck at you. Have your mount on neutral and hope for the best.

I keep my mount on AMT (attack my target) the followers on neutral. Seems like Microraptors are jealous creatures, angry they are too small to be a mount, poor guys.

yea microraptor's do gain a pack buff like compy's, troodon's and kentro's when close to other's and there are some mounts out there that microraptor's can't knock you off of

but yea having offensive mounts is a good idea to give those tiny terror turkey's a lesson they wont forget

I am more afraid of the Carno's, Thyla's, or T-rexes in the area when i get knocked out by them.
