Is the Griffin worth it?

It seems to be a huge pain in the ass to tame and I’m not sure if it’s worth the hassle.

If you master the dive swipe, they are devastating to everything and nearly untouchable.

Is the Griffin faster then the Snow Owl?

@taming: Just build a 4x4x4 box with roof, a dino gate on one side and a 1x1 hole for a ptera on the other side. Lure Griffin into it (it can´t fit through 1x1 like the ptera) and fly out on the other side, land right next to the box so the Griffin stays aggroed on your Ptera (passiv!), run around and close the door. You can use a remote pad for closing the gate if you´ve got power nearby.

Super easy this way, glad you typed it all out and not me ;)

Can also have a passenger on the Gryphon/Griffin. And no saddle needed, not sure what mod has the wyvern stone, but you can place that into the saddle slot to give them armor.
