Otter spawn locations in Valguero

I have been looking for hours for otters on Valguero for otters and cant find any, I have looked thrugh all the redwoods and jungle, Is there a specific area they spawn? After multiple searches on the internet, There is nothing about spawn locations for them

I've seen a few otters in the big pond that's all the way at the west end of the lake; pretty much the border of the redwoods and tundra.

look at the blue icon called "main base " on the map, you'll find a little pond full of colacanths and sabertooth salmons, no pirahnas here.

Everytime i clear this pond for fish meat i get 1 or 2 otters spawns which is pretty good imo.

Clear that pond entirely at least twice and you'll see 1 to 4 otters.

I do know that otter's can spawn in a pond inside a ravine at the white cliff's.....but be careful in that area since it's swarming with pack's of deinonychus

Thank you so much for this tip! I followed your instructions exactly and I got two otters after clearing the pond 4-5 times :)

The only place I saw an otter there was no fish around to tame it with. Can argies fly and hold wild otters in their beaks? On official.
