mountain's, the skeleton gorge, sometimes in jungles, the emerald forest (aka the aberration-like area underground), caves you know general fair

Hundreds around my base every day my gawd. To make it easy for ya tho start at Beaver Lake and go in any direction will be lots of dogs, kittens, and scorps. Oh my. They often spawn around metal nodes in the open.

Chitin mainly, maybe taming for eggs but that may be pointless as of kibble rework (i.e. haven't checked!).

I really like the map but you are right, it is hard finding specific dinos. Been looking for an oviraptor for days for egg production.

Ovi's are in the forest but easy to miss cause they are small.

You can also find oviraptors along the river beach areas, white cliffs side. Not a tone of them, but they are there, so long as they can stay ahead of the dilos.
