Valguero giant beaver dams.. gone!
Why did they remove the giant beaver dams from the Valguero map? The place where they used to sit is still there, the round little circle, they just removed all the giant beaver dams. Jesus Christ!

Huh?

The only beaver dams on Val are at beaver lake in the northern part of the map. It has dozens of dams there even now.

What? You have "giant" beaver dams on your map?

55 lat / 75 long.
A large lake is there with tons of beavers. Dams are everywhere - in the water, on the shores and even some distance away under trees.

A trip there usually yeilds 2-3k of pastes.

Ah yeah, those are normal size dams, I am talking about the giant ones, you know like the ones on Ragnarok, they are much bigger in size and give about 4 times more of everything. Valguero used to have lots of those giant dams. But I guess the normal ones will just have to do, cause they have removed the giant dams. Thanks alot for trying to help and letting me about the location of more normal dams though, I appreciate it.

Didn`t know that there were "GIANT giant beaver dams".

Honestly, Valguesro is way too unbalanced in terms of resources. Everything that is so hard to come by on official maps here is presented in crazy amounts with easy access. Metal, crystals, mutton, pearls, obsidian - all of it litteraly everywhere.

And abundance of deino eggs? You can obtain dozens in less that 15 minutes and make exceptional kibble out of all these so easy. Try to obtain yuta or hesperornis eggs on The Island without investing in taming these beasts...

Yeah that is usually the case with mod maps (Valguero is/was a mod), you don't even need to grow your own vegetables, there are places where they grow naturally. So it is fun maps, not as serious business as the official maps, since those are more pvp oriented and people would lose their ♥♥♥♥ if they had so much resources everywhere.

Valguero is a mod map, it was a mod up until a week ago or something, then it suddenly became "official", so they removed all the interesting dinos, removed resources like giant beaver dams, effed the map up some more, and voila, there you, official "dlc" map for FREE! Wow..

Oh, and the poor guy who made the map had to release a "fix" or sorts, so he released a mod to add back in all the missing dinos again,"Valguero additional dinos"

The mod author is working on a map extension to add stuff/dinos back in.
