Ark Swimming Bug

I have the problem that i cant swim in ark everytime i try to swim i fly in water with very low speed and i am not able to swim up or down when i move i walk so does somebody know a fix? Also killing and torboing and grapping myself wont help.

A year later and this is happening to me. Swam on a Sarco to an underwater cave, started going wierd just before cave. Got in and onto land. Mounted or not, cannot swim up or down. No swimming animation, just like flying. walk, fly, every button I can think of, not fixing it. PC restart, Updated server and still not fixed, so client side issue, I guess.

Okay, it's the cave on my client.
I'm admin so can TP or Ghost out. Everything is fine. I swim down to this cave and it all starts again. Swim out and it is all good.
I go there on my single player, swimming high into the entrance and fall to the cave floor and die.
I go there again and enter from the bottom along the sea floor and I get the visual effects of being in water, but physically, I am walking. Take off the flippers and I walk faster.

So, while I do not have a solution yet, I believe this is a client side issue.
Steam updated Ark tonight and this happened after that. Integrity check has not helped.

forgot to mention that in this cave now, walking around, the oxygen meter is gone. I don't need a SCUBA chest in here now. I kinda want to do a lot of building in here now as I don't need to worry about air :)

I also have this bug in the large underwater cave with the glowing mushrooms. I built a base in it and now can't exit the cave because I can't swim down. This started after the last update. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

I think everyone is having that same bug in that cave if you downloaded their small update. One of my other characters which hasnt restarted Steam doesnt have the bug.

Ooh, this seems to be fixed for me now. I didn't do anything since last week so maybe a client patch sorted it out for me.

I got the same problem, the center mp pve server. Suddenly cant swim = drown and lost everything for no reason.
