Permanent Solar Eclipse?
So as we all know, on Extinction the moon moves around the skybox constantly (Very slowly, might I add). I was wondering if there was any way to stop the moon from moving when it's over the sun, so that the map is in a permanent solar eclipse.

Hijacking someone elses thread is not how to go about it. There is a Looking For... sub forum.

@OP.... afaik not without doing a map mod.

If you have admin powers you could stop game time during the eclipse so time wont pass in game, idk if that effects timers like breeding, cooking, etc though.

If you are refering to the cheat slomo command "stopping time" freezes the server, nothing moves be it player, dinos, the moon/sun, or timers. PlayersOnly freezes all entities besides players, but not the day/night cycle. PlayersOnly also is quite glitchy on servers, players can move but not affect things, and disabling the command after use will slingshot players to the position they were in when the command was activated. Your best bet is to see if someone makes a permanent eclipse mod.

I am in a singleplayer world. All I'm trying to do is find a way to put the map into a permanent solar eclipse, and since I don't know how to make mods I guess I will have to wait for someone to make a mod.
