Pteranodon won't fly

We have our first Pteranodon, we have the saddle and he's not flying, W and mouse isn't working, spacebar isn't doing anything. What can we do? https://gyazo.com/f800d86958df7b28b63ad38e496c3eb9

Your Pteranodon is encumbered - they can`t really carry much. So there is too much weight in its inventory PLUS your inventory weight when trying to ride him.

Well that worked, we didn't expect weight was that problem cause my friend wasn't carrying almost nothing. Thank you.

Hah yes I remember the first time I was trying a ptera and ran into the same confusing problem. Man, I'm envious of you at this stage of learning and experiencing the world of Ark for the first time.

Beware the E key when in flight! You tend to only need to learn that lesson a couple times before its properly remembered.

Yes and after you will always have parachutes set on the "1" key ! and of course the first time you meet the Thylacoleo...

For me the Ptera refuses to fly because of too much weight. Try to remlove everything you have into your inventory AND in the shortcuts keys (1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0) ! just press one time the Spacebar key and it should fly.
