Ark windows 10 not loading in

So a few years ago my dad bought me ark for the xbox. and yesterday i wanted to play with my brother without splitscreen. so i downloaded ark on my pc and tried to run it. here is where the problem starts. when i started the game it tried to sync my data. that wasnt working at all as it kept getting stuc kat 0%. so i cancelled that i clicked start. then it says im logged in and in the right bottom corner it says loading. after 30 minutes it is still loading and i dont know what to do. i have already reinstalled the game. since there is no forum or anything for ark in windows am asking it here so please help me. greetings, Kicksr3

did you install Ark via the Xbox app? and update it via windows store?

no i downloaded ark via the windows store but i had it already installed on xbox

I also play a Win 10 edition of Ark as well as the steam one, but I don't own an Xbox. it sounds to me like you have installed it correctly but it's having trouble syncing to data from your Xbox account, but the "Xbox Console Companion" (if you have this installed) should have synced that before attempting to join I believe.

If all the above is true and your still having problem maybe try Arks official forum in the Xbox section, as the win10 version you are are trying to run is the same as the Xbox one.

There are some very helpful people that post here on a regular basis if someone does know the answer they will reply .... just keep an eye on the post .... maybe a little more accurate information on your problem may also be helpfull.... GL
