Rex Tek less powerful than Rex for bosses?

Hello, today on my server, a guy told me that the Tek Tek rex had a penalty against the boss of the game because they had 30 more levels in the wild compared to the Rex. I would like to know if it's true please?

Tek rexes and normal rexes are exactly the same when it comes to stats. The biggest difference is that Tek Rexes (and tek dinos in general) have higher level caps. In a sense, Tek Rexes are more likely to be stronger than normal rexes due to higher level cap.

That's assuming if you can find enough tek rexes to make up for normal rexes as brereding is essential for boss fights (assuming if it's official rates or close to it). Using regular rexes is still fine, and is probably faster for boss progression as they're way more common than tek rexes.

Thank you for your answer. For now I have 10 females 0/40 to 9900 health and 331% DPS.
And the only male has 9900health and 377% DPS (5 DPS mutations).
It's good ?

My goal is to make 40 mutations in DPS (~ 700% DPS at birth) and my friend will make 40 mutations in health (27k at birth) then we will collect our stats.

Actually they have exactly the same lvl cap which is 450 in official servers, tek and normal rexes are exactly the same, the only difference is the spawning lvl which can be higher on tek ones (180 vs150) but at the end they are the same. By other hand, X rexes have different stats and caps (lvl 500)

1. When I say "higher level caps" I meant wild caps. Not everyone has the time and dedication to really breed to insane levels lol.
