Aslong as you dont use like 500 mods that is lol
Hmm seems to use 4 cores you can use the command "useallavailablecores", but yea you should be able to fully dedicate 1 whole cpu to one game.
Ark only uses 1 core and about 5% of all the remaining cores then so its kinda weird, ark only uses 2>4gb of ram while minecraft uses alot more ram and less cpu.
If you keep it to max 10 people 1 core should be fine.
Using windows it should say 6/12 cores used, but only uses 1.
AFAIK Ark uses more than 1 core
Using 1 core would CPU bind this game, and render the command line -useallavailablecores pointless.
Can you also provide a link to the reported issue with the Dell Poweredge R410 (E5645) please?
- also wasnt a serverside setting? Or was it?
But that isnt the same as a server box using 1 or more cores.
It has a lower ram amount but better ghz on it. And a much smaller amount of space. This comes to the point of what I should favor the most; ram, ssd, or processing power.

Im looking for one that can run the Ark and minecraft server 24/7 with Ark being a 1-3 player server no mods (Multiple Maps?). And the minecraft server never going over 30 people with minimal plugins.
The R610 is fine, just make sure you get at least 32GB RAM, more if you can.
