Host Tether Distance Multiplier?Help

I've been away for nearly a year or so without touching Ark and I can't find the Host Tether Distance Multiplier to play with my friends on a non dedicated server?? It'll sucks to play within 300 m of each other. If anyone can help me it'll be great. I tried the same thing on my ps4 and there's no Host Tether Distance Multiplier below dino count

Only Steam version has this setting. Consoles don't.

Its part of the console certification process to not allow games that kill your console.

i guess i won't be playing ark again then... at least not on ps4. thx for your help

Find an unofficial community to join. Reddit has ark server ads and so does survivetheark.com assuming the is likely a ps4 tag/section.

Well I used to play splitscreen with my brother and his friends on a non dedicated server cuz we only have 1 ps4 and 1 pc. I only play on the ps4 to play with him and if i'm alone ill grind on pc and i don't think we can play splitscreen on unofficial servers

Actually... My husband and I fixed tethering on our non-dedicated. Type and hit enter of 99. DO NOT use the slider. Make sure both of you have done this .. and start the game. We can go clear across the map .. any map .. from each other and not get pulled.

Splitscreen? ps4?
