Seems to have a stat mutation but both 0/20
I'm breeding argentavis, and here's what happened:

The female had 375.5% after taming (no level ups)

The male had 330.1% after taming (no level ups)

Now I have a baby with 406%, so I thought it had a mutation, but both sides show 0/20. What am I missing?

EDIT: No it does not have any level ups, and it isn't imrpinted

You need to use an online calculator to get the percentage to points

Okay thanks but that doesn't matter. The baby should either inherit 330.1% or 375.5%. And it did not inherit either of those. It got extra, without showing any other signs mutations, so my question is, why?

are the parents leveled up if so the baby may have inherited a higher level than they started as which will result in stats being picked randomly for extra levels even though you didnt level it for example lets say you had 2 parents both were tamed at 150 then you leveled em to 175 lets say the baby hatched and started at 160 the baby can inherit higher dps stat for example than parents through random calculating it picks stats randomly and applied the extra 10 levels into its stats which can cause it to get more in those stats than normal just hope it dont give your argent oxygen stat that is useless on fliers

Thank you for your reaction but that's not how breeding works :) The baby only inherit post tame stats, so it doesn't get any extra levels if the parents are leveled up. And even if it did, all the other stats make sense. I kept track of all stats but only melee is higher.

For example: health mom: 2117.3 before leveling up
healt dad: 2847.3 before leveling up

Baby got 2847.3

This goes on for every stat, exept melee, which why it is weird

If it is your own Server or singleplayer the easiest way would be to use
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=793605978

Then you can see the exact original stats of both parents and the ones from the offspring.
This would definitely show any mutation.
