Question about Ice Titan taming.

Recently me and a friend attempted to tame the Ice Titan, this comes off the back of being able to tame the Forest Titan without much issue. However it seems like it is taking far longer than it should be, with both of us on Managarmrs we were at it for a good hour, without even destroying the first node.

Is there something I am missing here? Any help would be appreciated.

Is the hit marker even purple? Or maybe Ice Titan is immune to ice attacks, might make sense.
Honestly I could tame it with pumps or boosted pteras when testing so its either because you use the Managarmr or you miss-aim

Mana's don't work. Ride a rock drake and use either a fab pistol or sniper.

@123 The hitmarker is green, as it was when we tamed the Forest Titan, and also we do damage to the node, it displays 1 damage each time. (Edit yes the hitmarker is purple, got confused with dps number color)

Also care to explain why @Serangel? Is this confirmed?

Then use a velonasaur on a quetzal, it'll work too

To make a final amendment to this thread, after extensive testing, the Manas do in fact not work, so thank you all who commented here. We are gonna brainstorm strats and come up with something that works best for us.

I would want to say that maybe a Mek could work cause of the blaster and that it has at least some good mobility....but for that you'd need to get a good Mek blueprint and a lot of element for this to be possible but idk much about hitting the weakpoints on the other 2 titan's since im more well versed when it comes to where the giant tree's weakpoint's are

We used the Mek for the trial and ended up with a gamma, so it wasn't ideal. It could of just been a reflection of how long we tried it with the manas beforehand, but the chest node for the Ice Titan at least is super janky to hit. The nodes hit-box constantly moves left and right, so, maybe a more precise method is needed; Fab snipers or Assault rifles perhaps.
