Problems with AMD Radeon R9 200 Series?
The Game crash by fast movings sice some days, have anyone the same problems? May be, that the reason for the crashs is, that the AMD Radeon R9 200 Series is not powerfull enough or too old?

Quite possible that it's not strong enough depends which R200 model you have, I wouldnt recommend anything less than a 290x and even then I wouldn't really recommend it.

Personally running an R9 390 and have no problems.

Just being weak is a lousy reason for a crash. A weak card should just run bad. If it's crashing more is at play.

My daughter has been playing ark on a 2gig 6970 for a year now, she plays on dx10 and solid 60fps.
Never a crash but sometimes some slowdown...

290x here, bsod from some ati file once a day. Sometimes its shootergame.exe. Sometimes it just randomly corrupts save file.

Its ARK...

I have an R9 270x and I rarely crash. All my settings are on high/medium and I get a solid 30-50 FPS

I have R9 280X and same problem... black screen or freeze and crash without message. I need to restart pc many times.
I play in a server with 10 mods, and no problem for a mounth, but now i crash many times when i run or when im at home with a lot of machines. I think its a low memory problem (sorry for my english :S
I try a reinstall. Didnt works
I try disabled all high graphics on my radeon control center (i dont have AMD Catalyst) Dindt works.
I have latest drivers (not beta drivers)
I try low graphics, is the best way, but looks like minecraft.

What can i do?
Buy a new graphic card is not an option, at least not now :)

Thanks

I am having the same problem with my RX 580 4gb. The first 45 hours of the game ran flawlessly at med-high settings and now i can't play for more than an hour with out my bricking/freezing my pc. I have turned off my OC, verified files, updated all drivers, toned back my settings to low-med, and did a reinstall with nothing improving my experience.

I recently did the launch commands:
-nohithread
-nomonsky
-useallavailablecores

I just did this last night and only had minimal time to test but will see what happens when I get home. I guess it would be nice if i was getting flagged with crash reports or error codes so that I could look it up but all I get is a frozen computer.

Ok, i find this options to launch ark:

-USEALLAVAILABLECORES -sm4 -d3d10 -nomansky -lowmemory -novsync

from this:

at least i try
-d3d10
-nomonsky
-lowmemory
-novsync

and then comment here.

didnt works
i try to reinstall all. game and mods.
yesterday i tried low graphics, all disabled, and freeze and need to restart my pc 2 minutes in server.
I think not a graphic card problem. other games like battlefield1, black desert online, etc. no problem, but yes with ark

i reinstall all and i will comment here
