ark crashing/timing out
ark crashes and times out multiple times when i try to join a server.

i have now tried for hours on end to join different servers and it only let me in to one polish server, i have updated all my drivers and done all the things people recommend online but nothing seems to work.
seeing as i havent played this game alot in a very very long time i have no clue what is going on. does anyone have any sort of tip or ideas of what could help or what the reasons could be?

What does the crash message say? Make sure you have downloaded the maps you're trying to play on. Valguero is a popular new map. It's free, but it's still a DLC and needs to be downloaded.

Either way, please let us know what the crash message is so that we can try to troubleshoot it for you. Either copy/paste it, or screenshot it using print screen or the snipping tool.

it is usually fatal errors or that it just crashes without a message, do u want me to screenshot one of the fatal crash errors?

right now i have had very few issues, i think what i did wrong was not having all the maps/dlc's downloaded

After 2 months of rubbish, those error crashes, forever loading, uninstalling ark 20 times and verifying my sanity, I downloaded the map correctly it seems to be running fine, what ping are you getting on the server screen?

i seem to go between 30-70, it is my server, so i have the logs open and everything seems to be completely fine, i am checking my connection and nothing seems to be wrong there, rn doing some more config/modding on the server so restarting it atm, but there is no reason for it not to work what i know of

Sorry about the late reply, weekend and whatnot.

Could you go to your steam library. Click help, then system info. Paste what's there.

From the error, it looks like it could be a graphics issue. Simplest fix is updating drivers in a lot of cases. Try that and let us know what happens.
