They catch their own tho, just take them to the water, where there are fish, and set them on aggressive. You will have a bunch of food in no time at all :)

fish only, sadly. (be it regular, or prime, cooked or uncooked)
Otters and pelagornis are the same way,

It might prevent this problem if you take the time to research the dino you want to tame BEFORE you tame it. You can find the food the dino likes ahead of time.

Peleg can fly pretty fast. I just set up a base near a fish supply. Put a metal pillar in the fish pond so no one builds over it. And use the pel to fish quickly every three days (cause otters eat faster than other pets).

Also helps if you cannot keep up with their fish needs to go ahead and spend points in their food bar. Buys you a bit more time to get around to feeding them.

if you need to supplement your fish meat supply, jump on a water-capable dino and go around the sea, mainly in the shallows, killing all the megalodons and manta rays. You can get a lot of fish meat very quickly that way. I always do this to make sure i have tons of extra fish meat before raising baby baryonx, otters, or pelagornis.

Also, if you use the S+ mod, it helps to make a 2nd S+ feeding trough and use the option wheel on it to set it to "inclusion" and then check the boxes for the fish-only eaters. (Baryonx, otter, pelagornis, etc) And put your fish meat in it. This way, you dont have to worry about all your regular carnivore dinos eating up all your fish meat.
