help! please!!!! "shooter game crashed" error
I purchased a server for myself so I can play with adjusted settings with a few close friends. I got all setup, added my mods and loaded up my game. It loads all mods and goes to the load screen for a few seconds until I get a popup notifications saying "The UE4 shooter game has crashed and will close" someone please help! I have 2 weeks off starting today and I desperately want to play

Got it updated and unfortunately it didn't work
Try verifying your game's files. Open your library, right click on ARK's icon, click on Local files, click on Verify. You will have 2 files missing (I've been told it's a bug and everyone gets that message). If any files are missing, Steam will automatically update the game.

Same problem here. Is there any solution? Also meet this shooter game crashed. After i start single play walk within 2 minutes already jump out and see this shooter game crashed.

Why is anyone in this thread giving him any ideas at all, especially changing shader settings (Apart from driver update, that's just always smart)? We still have no idea what is causing his game to crash.

OP - Please post the complete error message you get when your game crashes, if there is one. We need to know not just that the game crashed, but why.

try to verify integrity of your files through steam. Go to your steam library right click on ark go to properties then local files then click verify integrity. this should check all your files have download properly. might take a while be patient.

That's a common issue.

Try to reproduce the crash and post the error message you get, please. We can't really help you without knowing what's actually happening. Don't add any SM4 modifiers or anything, that's not likely your problem. I don't know why that was even suggested before we knew what was causing your crash.

I'll login and see if I can copy the entire message really quick. I tried verifying files and it was fine. I also tried removing steam and ark from my pc completely, uninstalled and deleted all files, and when I reinstalled it still didnt work. It's highly irritating at this point.

Well.....I feel like a complete moron. When I purchased and downloaded the game, It downloaded all the maps i purchased along with the base game. I didn't realize center was not automatically downloaded as part of the base game. Thats the map I've been trying to get onto and now I feel so dumb 😂😂😂 good news is, I added center and now my game works great lmao

Shade, how about you start your own thread, rather than hijack someone else's? Your issue isn't remotely related to this guy's. (Or better yet, just do a search for your error. . .)
