Are you by chance an admin? You can use the destroymytarget command on the loot bags to poof them. You could also grind them as well.
Got spare item skins?
Store them just in case a neighbouring tribe wants to trade.
Got gear you didn't mean to make?
Store it away for when you inevitably die and lose your stuff.
Got any spare material you aren't using at the moment?
Store them away because by god it saves a ton of time down the line if you need 900 stone and see youve racked up a hefty amount in storage.
Ark has no entirely useless items like some games, say if youre fishing and catch a useless old boot. Even spoiled meat is used for narcotics which play a big part in taming larger creatures.
If you, for some reason, need to drop something maybe if youre encumbered, you obviously drop it and leave it behind to decompose but if 4 or 5 packages drops your fps a ton then something is clearly wrong.
OK, i was not aware of item decomposing, i thought only food items will perish eventually.
So to permamently destroy an item (without using console or repurposing it) just leave it on the ground, it will despawn after some time.
