But theri is the best investement since it harvests everything, minus rocks.
1. Wanting simply to gather wood/thatch etc quickly in bulk.
2. Wishing to clear a swath of land for building on expeditiously.
3. 1+2 combined.
If a mamoth has extremely good speed and high inventory intake then its going to be the best option for point 3.
If just wanting point 2, then fast attack dinos that dont collect wood could be better or a speed bronto or crawling wyvern or similar that just simply walks over the terrain(thus not collecting just knocking em over.
If just wanting wood with point 1 only then it depends on the stats of a beaver, mamoth, roll rat, etc in melee damage to weight to harvest rates/health of trees in this case. Not enough information to account for all the variables in that regard.
