Non-Dedicated Server Not Showing Up
Recently my friend and I have been playing on a a non-dedicated server that I’ve been hosting successfully for a few weeks- but today we both left to eat and the server just stopped appearing for her on the server list when we came back, although about 50 other servers show up, so I’m assuming it’s something I somehow am messing up with hosting it

We’ve never had any problems with the server showing up (except for when the WiFi is acting up) and we have no clue why it stopped working since literally nothing has changed since we were last on- We’ve tried restarting ark, the server, the WiFi, the computers, and playing with the settings a bit

If anybody has any ideas as to why it stopped showing up and/or how to fix it please tell me as I haven’t been able to find anything on it online

Can she join from the « join game » button from the steam chat options?

As Nevaia said, they can use the join game option from steam chat to join the server you are in directly. Alternatively give them your public IP address and they can scan for a server using the View\Servers list.

From there they can also add you as a favourite without even having to launch the game.

We can't join from the steam chat option, and we have tried that and it still didn' show up.

If when trying to add a favourite no games show up against your public IP address... Then either your local firewall or routers firewall isn't port forwarding. Look into that side of things.
