So... I've run into a bit of a unique situation...
First, a backstory: Some time ago I killed the megapithicus with an absurd team of dinos.
I decided to make the survivors (3 allos) the start of a breeding line for later proper boss fights.
While I wasn't looking, they slowly got dragged away by random wilds. They kept breeding, and a few eggs hatched while I was gone as well. I thought I claimed all the babies and brought everything back into place.
Later, while I was flying off to a drop, I noticed there were a few unclaimed allos on the other side of a hill that hid them from me earlier. I didn't want to miss the drop and the breeding lines were already going so I procastinated claiming them.
That was over a week ago.
Well, I never got around to claiming those guys, and, well... It's gotten absurd.
How absurd? Well, I'd love to share a screenshot, but when I tried (twice) to look at them all for the picture my computer bluescreened.
They were so tightly packed that most of them could not move at all, and, with no exaggeration, I would say there's a massive tumor of approximately 1000 allos by now, and it is still growing.
Killing them all would be basically impossible since I'd have to manage to get next to them and fight, which is impossible. That's also probably an impossible fight given their numbers.
Oh, and it's also very close to my base, so I really can't ignore it either.

So yea, any ideas?

There is a command to destroy a specific dino, dont know if it work with unclaimed dinos. And if it work, i suggest first to save(upload) your dinos of the same species to tje obelisk, just in case.

Claim them? Pretty certain that’s still an option unless you accidentally punch one and mayhem ensues. Alternatively you could get on a flyer and kite them to a dangerous area further from your base and let the circle of life kill them. Or I think unclaimed Dino’s still need to be fed so you could let them starve if you’re willing to wait that long. Come to think of it how did these unattended babies even survive to grow up?

It is technically an option. Meaning, if I get up to one I can claim it. However, there is, and again, I say this without exaggeration, about 1000 of them in there. Additionally, if I get too close for too long, the computer bluescreens, making that impossible.

Edited my quote above so I didn’t have to post again though here I am so that was pointless... anyways I’ve added alternatives. just started thinking about the blue screen so kiting probably won’t help

Most of them can't move currently because they're suck in eachother, so kiting is not an option and would just make the problem worse later as I don't believe anything in the wild would be capable of killing them all. Even a giga could only make a little dent at this point which they'd breed back in fairly quickly.
They do need to be fed, and I've seen a few of them starving, but they also eat whatever happens to enter their range. I wouldn't think it's enough to sustain them to this point, but here we are.

Ahh yes! I thought about that command but didn't want to lose my allos, didn't think about uploading them for some reason, I'm gonna cryo them then try the command, that should do it.

Well that seemed to work just fine but the game bluescreened after I did it, so I'm gonna try again with slomo .1 (might make it easier on the pc, idk)
Anyway, I did, before making my previous posts, get a ss for anyone interested:

Each allo in the clump in the middle is actually 5-9 allos stacked in eachother so multiply the number that it looks like (at least 100) by 7...

Aaaaaaaaaaaand they're gone, thanks!

I really wonder how that has happened.

What are your breeding rates?? Do they lay eggs every 10 minutes and grow in 2 hours and for some weird reasons are automatically breeding once adult??

I think I made based breeding speeds on singleplayer breeding speeds, dunno exactly what it is off the top of my head.
And everything automatically breeds one adult, since babies start off wandering which enables mating.
It was made worse because allos are pack dinos, so they stay together as they wander.
Wait 8 days and this is what you get.
Never leave pack dinos like this

Aren't we supposed to enable "mating" too since a good couple of versions? Or since they are not claimed only wandering suffice to make them breed. Kinda confused here.

There's an enable mating option and a wandering option, both will allow breeding to happen.
Babies, as I'm sure you know, have wandering enabled by default, so they can breed until they're told not to.

Hmmm i thought they added the "allow breeding" so we can have stuff on wander without getting into this exact sitation happening....

Nope.
I always figured that it was so we didn't have to build little cubby holes so they could breed.
Since we have the enable mating option though they really should make it so wandering doesn't allow breeding on its own anymore.
