Nameless venom not dropping

So, I've taken a high lvl Megalo to a Nameless spawn area in hopes of farming some of it's Venom to raise a few Rock Drakes. Thing is, I must have spent over 30 min by myself killing those Nameless and not a single one of them dropped Venom. Is the Venom spawn really that rare or am I doing something wrong?

Did you disable harvesting and victim looting?

Sometimes regardless of this setting the venom will drop in a bag. Have you seen any left by the nameless?

I dont understand why but sometimes my dinos dont get the itens aswell.

Yep, found most dinos do not harvest it but instead it drops in loot bags on the ground after you eat the corpse

I'm just finding this weird because I keep seeing videos on YouTube with some people getting dozens upon doznes of Venom

Yeah I dont know what causes that but the same happens to me with harvest and looting on.

I killed around 100 of them and got 2 venom

Hardly any youtubers play official rates so ignore what is dropping in those videos.

When you do get venom, it is usually 1-4 in one go. Never got more than 4. I get about 12 venom in 15 mins which includes time wandering the zone looking for them to spawn. Keep your light off so they keep spawning and look out for the bags.

How full was ur dinos inventory? I have noticed that when my inventory is about half full, the drops are far less frequent.

Mount stops gathering loot after 50% weight so bags will be on the ground

Was wondering about this myself, been killling nameless without gathering any venom. Turns out the reason why its not getting any is so surprising, I've been playing the game for long but never knew about this lol.

Noticed that only the red-alpha nameless drop venom, think thats whats happening.
