{Aberration} Fishing Rods

I know to find better rods is usually in the ocean fighting the alphas, and sometimes in the loot crates in the water caves. Since we are on aberration we don't have the ocean creatures. Are the better quality fishing rods now more rare or non existant? If you can find them, where?

i have tryed everywhere (during christmas event) and i have yet to find a rod ...

Our yellow drops have been horrible compared to blue and purple. I've had more ascendant in purple than I have yellow and red drops combined. Idk what is up with that.
