How to use pillars?
I know the pillars say they're great for building on slopes....

But I can't figure out how. I'm wanting to build a dock out in the water. Two wood foundations in and the ground starts to slope down. So...how can I build out further?

Build pillar(s) down from a ceiling to the ground. Then add more ceilings. Repeat.

You build using an annoying max support method.

Which means you build ur foundation, then follow it with 2 ceilings. Then from the farthest out ceiling build pillars till you hit ground. After that you are allowed to build 2 ceilings out again, before you have to build a pillar to hold it up. So on and so forth. Depending on how steep the drop is. You can end up using a ton of pillars and it gets really expensive really fast just to add on 2 more ceilings.

Can I put a foundation on top of a ceiling? I have two wood foundations out. Would the ceiling connect to them?

Ceilings connect to the sides of foundations. You cannot put a foundation on a ceiling
