ARK is no longer a dino game..

Hey. I just wanted to say why I stopped playing this game. The reason is that they are trying to make fantasy game instead of dino game in latest updates (griffin, wyvern, rock elemental). And what about aberration ? Are there any dinos left ? Only fantasy ♥♥♥♥♥... ARK used to be only good dino game. After you found all the dinos, they are not that exciting to you... That is why I bought Scorched Earth. And then Rock Elementals on every step killed me. I just wanna say that they ruined last good dino game out here. At least for me.

Yeah, Ark was never a dino game. According to the lore, it's a sci-fi game being that you are on a space station with genetically engineered creatures with a technological heads-up-display implant in your arm. Aberration is a malfunctioning and irradiated Ark/Space station and we all know what happens to irradiated animals.

In a way, I do partially agree with you regarding Wyverns, Rock Elementals etc, but that's because I am holding onto my Jurassic Park fantasies when that is not what the game is about. I always thought it was a dino game, but looking into it, it's not.

Fantasy yes but it suppose to be based on Fact as in they existed at 1 time, bar changing a few things cos its a game.... Fantasy would be making it about religion lol

That's actually true, but to make interesting game like ARK, you need to mix time periods. I also know that the size of some dinos isn't real, but it's still more into reality than walking rock or a dragon..

It is an Fantasy Game with Dinos and other Fantasy Creatures, And some Fantasy Boss.

Also a nice open World Building Game. It was clear at the first moment i playd ARK that the focus are not only the Dinos.

Yep, but I thought only dinos, not the fact there are obelisks and things like that. I'm not 100% sure, but there are only dinos (and reptiles) in original map - The Island, or not ?
