Low end computer, is it enough?

I have an i5 8gb ram laptop being sent to through the mail to me. I think this is on par with a PS4.

I got it cheap is this good enough to play this game on ok settings for now? Also is this laptop good enough to play Player's Unknown Battlegrounds? I can't type on those forums but it is something I would like to find out if at least on low settings.

Would an i7 8gb or i5 16gb ram be better? How much of a difference would there be?

PUBG is one of those game with minecraft graphics that requires a Nasa PC to run.

sure... using the low end launch settings and low ingame settings yep. but ark is going to use up 1/2 ur hdd space and your going to overheat bad.

Your not going to get a gaming capable laptop cheap. You could however get a cheap computer prebuilt that would run Ark singleplayer on low graphics pretty well.

you paid almost $300 for a low end laptop when you could have bought a computer from walmart capable of playing on on medium setting s for the same price.

rule of thumb, if the laptop has only a iGPU it wont like ARK.

sadly no. not even highend computers are enugh for this game. they rather push sht DLCs instead of fixing their broken game^^ its all about money
