Can't find Alphas on Ragnarok

Is there special places one can find the Alphas on Ragnarok?? I've been flying around for almost 2 days (yesterday and lots today ) and I can't seem to find any alphas...
I've checked the dino spawn maps page, but they don't have info on this...

Does anyone know how this works on Ragnarok? Is there places where it's more likely to find them?

Alphas seems to be more rare on Ragnarok, partly because the map is so large. The last unofficial Ragnarok server I played on have the spawn rate increased.

i lived in the haunted castle. always had 2 alpha raptors around there.

I live near the castle ... but they seem to hide from me lol!!
Migtht also be as KitsuneShiro stated, that due to the size of the map now, they seem to be more rare to find :(
I don't want to increase the spawnrate due to new players and such, it just seem that my servers are attracting more new players.
Better continue to fly around and hope for the best then :D

Alphas= rare spawns, main word being RARE!!! Means they dont have good places to farm them. You need to be lucky for them to spawn

I play on ragnarok and have found alphas. My base is by the waterfalls near the center of the map. Of course I haven't been looking for them. It seems to me you can never find what your looking for... dont look for it, and there it is. Lol

There are alphas near volcano aswell. Generally if your server is very crouded with lots of bases then those bases will block lots of spawns. For example on my abberation server population of all dinos in easy zone went down to 20% after 2 weeks. Almost impossible to find a spino or karkinos. Additionally ragnarok is very big and not easy to find alphas on such big map.

Hi bud i found some by the castle and the black burnt area of the volcano, also if you have your own server you could set the alpha multipliers higher.

yeah .. I still run both my servers ... but I don't want to risk having to many alphas in for the new players :)
But I did find an alternative though ... I use the icecave .. lots of deathworms to grind levels on, and nice loot in there :D
