With one tribe that says "Derp derp, we need every single solitary open oil well we can find even if that's 10x more oil than we'd ever use"
We have one gas main. It's producing enough gas to keep us supplied for the extremely limited amount we need. The problem is that people get idiotic and greedy for no reason what so ever.
At least with oil you circumvent the greedy idiots with ocean diving, no such luck on gas.
^ That's exactly a PvP mechanic that do not fits well in PvE indeed, had to social engineer my neighboor tribes so they finally open it. Best tribes on PvE will open them, selfish peoples will farm them all and come here in the thread go git gud. Understand your feeling OP, don't loose your hope because most in here are selfish, tons of nice peoples in the game if you ask them to be nice.
Edit: Wrong type of gas. Have only just started playing the Aberration map >.>;
Apart from that, educating the server about how quickly the gas refills led to quite a few tribes unlocking.
The gas collectors also auto demo in 3 days which is really short so you could get lucky.
I feel this mechanic needs to change slightly. Maybe make it so maybe 1 row of materials is available to anyone but the rest of its inventory goes to the owner of the cap.
