well i'v caught 2 on default settings so far on a private dedicated.
They have the advantages of:
almost no fall damage,
immune to radiation,
can jump high,
Super fast,
Knock back tail attack,
tail acid attack that slows the target down.
The first was lvl 10,
got it 32 bonus lvls,
then lvled it 71 times,
As a lvl 113 reaper it was insanely powerful with about 26k hp and it hit 260's, 500 weight,
The second was lvl 150,
got it all 75 bonus lvls,
lvled it 71 times,
as a lvl 296 it is madness powerful with 56k hp, it hits 496 damage and has 800 weight.
The reapers primary stats were 46 points in food and 38 points in movement so infact it would count as a bad stat tame.
They are clearly ment to be abberations apex creature,
they can even outmatch a bred mutated trex.
Problems are u gotta find a good reaper queen and they tend to spawn at low lvls and they never despawn so you gotta kill possiblely hundreds or thousends of 46k hp , highly resistant queens that have a torpor attack that hits 2k torpor in order to find a good one,
then a good chance you will die during the impregnation,
finaly raising it takes about the same amount of time as a giga.
Then they have no saddle so you cant tanky them up like you can a trex.
The biggest issue for reapers is their default weight stat is terrible for something their size,
and i believe their 12 hour timer keeps counting down while ur offline so for 12 hours after getting impregnated you have to play til you get the 70k xp required to max the babys bonus lvls and the baby only gets xp from killing and almost nothing gives good xp on abberation best is the spino....
I'v wiped out all lakes/rivers ect while training the baby never saw a alpha.
I fought the lvl 10 queen with a pair of mid lvl crabs and got impregnated first attempt.
For the lvl 150 queen i first attempted using my reaper to fight her and thats where i noticed the torpor attack the first time as never noticed it on the crab (since only cannons and canapaults can hit it for torpor) honestly i think a legion of megas or half adozen crabs is more then enough for a lvl 150 queen.
You can also trap her in a stone trap and do it that way 100% safe aka easy.
to the right looking into the red biome are some spinos and all,
to the left is a pink waterfall and a giant ledge u gotta get up to go that way,
go up it the land bridge there has a 100% queen spawn rate normaly 1-3 are in that area.
Have a charge pet with 400% radius, 600 charge, 600 regen and keep it on during the fight using crabs and you can slaughter the queen,
if need be draw her back to a waiting force in the blue biome of ravagers/spinos/crabs ect and watch her hit 2k hp in momments.
it's how i got both my reapers.
Nothing else worked due to her torpor attack.
Normaly need crabs or overwhelming numbers.
Other creatures are instant ko'ed by her torpor attack.
My reaper only lost 5% hp but was knocked out by her torpor was forced to come back with an army to save my reaper.
