What tame(s) will kill a giga?

I have a big base with Bears, Sabers, Argentina, Rexes, Paracers, Gigantopithicus, and Ankylos and if the ark dossier is telling the truth I'm guessing I can kiss my tames goodbye (I'm on P+ so metal structures don't exist)

wild giga is very strong best to lure it away as even if you had enoff to kill it the battle would be messy

The only thing to Kill a Giga Ia a Titanosaur easy ... AKA Base Destroying Herbivore. But they live only 4 hours once you tame them unless you can add Raid Dino Feed True to your Ini file.

A level 10 did 4000 damage to our level 137 Giga, and almost killed a level 200+ Argie. Be very very careful with these guys.

wild gigas are pretty much bosses. there isnt really a good way to get rid of them other than dragging them into the sea. not even a tamed giga helps with the nerf they get once tamed.

a therizino might do it but ive never bothered trying, i just toss a dodo off a cliff or into the sea and watch the giga drown itself, might even peck its head with a arg or quetz just to push it down a bit more to make sure. anything else just feels like a waste with how much health they have and the risk of losing your dino or gear due to bad luck.

The problem with giga is the huge AOE in their bite. They will damage all the theri at once. I took a pack of 8 ‘rejects’ from my breeding against a mid level giga and despite pumping health on all of them they never even came close to winning.

Hm. ride a griffin and kill it with a stormrifle or compound-bow, if you have a good one. Or with the swipe-attack. But that would take a lot of time, after the nerf...

Of course, if you don't get to ragnarock, that isn't an option...

But I think, the drown-method is the best one, if you don't want to tame it, instead. (Then the griffin is the best solution, because you can tranq it while you ride it, in save distance in the air. Still this isn's as easy, as it sounds, though.) If you have a tribemember, you can also ride a tapajera instead. They have 3 seats, and only the pilot isn't able to use weapons.

Breed a Mega-Rex. Even without boosted health and damage on the server, if you find one with 15-17k health and one with 500%+ damage (I get that you would have to be extremely lucky, but still), breed them together to get those stats, then breed an army. If you find a good enough saddle (if that is possible on Primitive +) then your army should survive the giga's wrath.
