Metal are easily seen in caves and some are in the top of aberration map but just few of them

The easiest way we've found to get cementing paste is to smash the hundreds of trilobytes in the rivers, usually using a tame Karkinos.

For metal, check caves - the odd shaped rocks in there yield a lot of metal and you can mine keratin off the large bones on the floor (also good for cp).

Metal is in abundance in the blue zone, all the pointy rocks with blue veins are metal nodes, and if you're not quite ready to go in there then there's quite a few that are up above it on the edge at the end of the fertile river by the waterfalls that drop into it. As for CP, plenty of scorps, crabs, and trilos for chitin and Doeds for stone, or if you are ready to go into the blue there's snails down there.

As mentioned above, metal nodes look different in aberration. They will be rocks with vibrant blue streaks in them. There are hundreds and hundreds of them in the blue area. For cementing paste we've just been farming chitin from the crazy amount of karkinos that spawn along the rivers and lakes.

Spino works good, a crab is best i think.
If you dont have a spino or crab i was using a mate boosted pair of ravagers whistled to attack before i got a spino.
Kite the crab out of water first.

if you want safer metal nodes,there are some outside te portal spawn.Being yellow goldish(island rich metal)

Crabs are actually pretty easy to kill with anything as far as I can tell. I personally just munch them on my megalo most often but tribe mates use ravagers and spinos just fine.

I think this is actually why taming crabs can be annoying, they die easily XD. Nothing like finding a super high level crab and watch a wild spino half its level devour it.
