Anisotropic Point vs Anisotropic Linear
I am playing with the MinMagFilter settings of UE4.
(Specifies the texture filter type when textures are minified or magnified by the GPU.)

By default the textures I am changing the setting of have a setting of
MinMagFilter=aniso,MipFilter=point

UE4 documentation states that this is "Anisotropic Point" filtering.

Based on the documentation changing "MinMagFilter=aniso,MipFilter=point" to "MinMagFilter=aniso" will make the textures "Anisotropic Linear" filtered.

My question is: What is Anisotropic Linear filtering? Is "anistropic linear filtering" anisotropic filtering with trilinear interpolation between mipmaps?

Wikipedia has this info on mipmaps
"texture in a space of 40×40 pixels, then either a scaled-up version of the 32×32 (without trilinear interpolation) or an interpolation of the 64×64 and the 32×32 mipmaps (with trilinear interpolation) would be used."

The engine.ini in this folder has the highest priority in the hierarchy

It is over riding the anisotropic point filtering in "ARK\Engine\Config\BaseEngine.ini" to anisotropic linear.
