Aberration Fishing Rods and Sabre tooth Salmon

So we have been playing on aberration for a while now and we can not seem to get the Sabretooth Salamon to bite our hooks we have used both Leech blood and Honey and they will not bite.
Also have not been able to find anything but primitive fishing rods. Is ths is all intended by Wildcard or just accidental. I would think with putting all the time into creating a new map new mobs then maybe they could adjust loot table to work or replace accordingly. Same with getting useless drops for dinos that are not even included with the Aberration map vs stuff that is useful such as aberration gear like picks or motors.

Any devs or anyone else come across these situations or a way to fix them. As my bud and I spend a lot of time fishing for Blue Prints and really enjoy that aspect of the game its really increased my typing skills, LOL.

Is their a way to add items or get the salmon to bite the bate in the ini commands? How can you turn it on and why would wild card turn it off or would they make them now only eat a different type of new bate only new item i can think of is nameless venom.
