there is about 50 nodes across the map so in single player it's fine and dandy in multiplayer goodluck getting much element sooner or later people will see turrets and heavy turrets defending every node.
Also for elemental ore just go to the north east surface breach,
there is about 600 ore worth right next to the entrance along with some oil and lots of metal.
it's not hard but it's not like you can craft 100 element instantly
You mean south of the east-west river, and north of the tek "ampatheatre" ruin, with the cliff over the blue zone? We grabbed that spot up too. Setup a large compound. That river, though. Nothing but sacros, Spinos, and karks EVERYWHERE. And bitey-evil-fish. Millions of them.
Now it pretty good!
Unfortunately jacob99, Wildcard also broke charge nodes by putting them into stasis if a player is not nearby with that update. Before the update, they'd recharge even when players weren't nearby.
Pre Update: You could setup a route with 15 charge nodes and hit them every hour or so to get 15 element per hour. This was slow, but steady increase. It was possible to get like 90 element over six hours of game time.
Post Update: You have to stand beside the nodes to get them to recharge. Your 15 route of nodes now will only give element a single time. You are lucky if you can find 2 or 3 nodes in close enough proximity to stay out of stasis. Assuming you can find 3, you'll earn only 60 element over six hours of game time. NERF.
