can Easily mine element.
so i was walking down the path to the rock drake den (the one that follows the metal arch things) and once i get there i see that i cant build up to get eggsa dn need to go get pick, when i start to go, i relieze i am freezing and after killing the drakes, i look around for a rock for flint, i only getting metal when i notice these smaller rocks that are EVERYWHERE around the rock drake den, i go to mine it and i get 300 element or from 5 of the nodes, and thats just 5, there are literally 100+ of these things everywhere, just bring down 2 mate boosted mount to kill drake in the imeddiate area and a pack of 4-5 ravagers boosted mainly in weight and you will be able to get 10-15k+ element ore easy which would give you about 200-300 element from one trip! i mined a as much as i could carry (only have 2 megalosaurus, which both only have 600 weight, and element weighs 50 per stack so i couldnt get more then 800 becasue i would be over encumbered) super easy to get element and the only thing to worry about on the path down there for me was the darn purlovia.

If only I ran into them. Im in Singleplayer and I have been all over Abberation, full map discovery on ground only. 0 kings or queens show up lol. I consider myself lucky for the time being.

yes if you want to get rock drake eggs or element ore never stray off that path unless you are prepared
CooledCompy Dec 25, 2017 @ 11:26pm
thats surprizing that you havent seen any reaper queens throughout the element chamber the element falls are overrun with them

only in one part of the element chamber (aka the hall of the reaper area, kinda obvious thats that where they are), the path (aka grave of the lost souls/the spine) to the boss arena/ element ore/ drake eggs has none. (probably so you dont get badly damage on your way to fight the boss) even if they did, if you have a charge pet and 2 mate boosted breed max megalos like i do (suprisisngly easy to get, they both have 35k health and hit for 1k along with having saddles for good resistnace), you shred queens like paper. i farm multiple kings at once for nameless venom, they never last longer then 5 seconds against my megalo (sadly, its cool to fight this awesome xeno looking thing but it dies to quick to enjoy it)

The element ore is never going to the the limiting factor here. It’s the charge stations themselves and the return for investment of time. You can make 1 element per 15 minutes per single charge station. Not a bad option for a trickle, but can quickly become monotonous when hauling all the heavy mats from station to station if you want it quickly. I suggest building near at least one station and just popping the recipe as you notice the charge station relight.

I built my place next to the ones on the river side middle of the map. Open, nice, and safe after walls were built. cozy area.

It's easy to get the ingrediants but then you gotta take in the fact the charge nodes need to have full power, all resources and have a 40 min cooldown also all those mats u collected make 1 element thats right 1 element per 40 mins per node
there is about 50 nodes across the map so in single player it's fine and dandy in multiplayer goodluck getting much element sooner or later people will see turrets and heavy turrets defending every node.

Also for elemental ore just go to the north east surface breach,
there is about 600 ore worth right next to the entrance along with some oil and lots of metal.

cool too bad you still have to wait forever for each node to recharge from overloading on crafting 1 element

it's not hard but it's not like you can craft 100 element instantly

You mean south of the east-west river, and north of the tek "ampatheatre" ruin, with the cliff over the blue zone? We grabbed that spot up too. Setup a large compound. That river, though. Nothing but sacros, Spinos, and karks EVERYWHERE. And bitey-evil-fish. Millions of them.

Unfortunately jacob99, Wildcard also broke charge nodes by putting them into stasis if a player is not nearby with that update. Before the update, they'd recharge even when players weren't nearby.

Pre Update: You could setup a route with 15 charge nodes and hit them every hour or so to get 15 element per hour. This was slow, but steady increase. It was possible to get like 90 element over six hours of game time.

Post Update: You have to stand beside the nodes to get them to recharge. Your 15 route of nodes now will only give element a single time. You are lucky if you can find 2 or 3 nodes in close enough proximity to stay out of stasis. Assuming you can find 3, you'll earn only 60 element over six hours of game time. NERF.
