Artifact spawn problem [solved]

Sometimes artifacts (and their surrounding special effects) aren't at their spawn point and require some time wasting before they will appear. This has happened to me twice with the artifact of the clever where it wasn't in its spot when i got there but spawned after running around in circles a few times. Just before, same thing happened with artifact of the massive except this time, i fell into the lava and died, came back, and found the artifact right near my body so i am at the right spots, they're just not spawning when i first get there. Any ideas, known workarounds etc?

note: i know about the 30min delay in single player but playing on non-dedicated sessions and it has been far more than 30min since i used them last.

worked it out. the 30min delay applies to non-dedicated sesssions as well and starts from the time the session is started. don't go for a cave straight after starting the session.

I have the same problem, it's been a month since I returned to North West Cave and the artifact has not appeared yet.
I was able to take 2x and the 2x I'm falling in the ice pick. since the artefact n aparet more ...
is there a solution without using the console to make it appear?

different problem (there are many). from what i've looked up, it has been around for years and they seem to have no interest in fixing it. hope you got to do it a couple of times before it glitched out since i haven't found a workaround for that cave once it does :/
