Didnt have to derp.
Not seeing a 105o with 12 gigs anywhere. Mine have six gigs memory and it shows 8 shared but that aint in the card. If it comes from anywhere else its only gonna be slower.
Another thing i can think of is that you might have 8gb of regular RAM, which the game really likes to eat up like candy.
As for in-game settings, i recommend turning down Ground Clutter Density as well as tweaking with some of the other settings. This game runs better than last year by miles, but still needs a little bit of work on optimization. There are also some Launch Options you can use, but they might make the game look really ugly (but playable?). Take a look at this if you are curious https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=475747492
Hopefully DX12 eventually gets added with multi-GPU, so I can slap in an 8 gig 570 along with my 580 so I can use the memory from both cards rather than redundant memory like with crossfire and SLI.

Ummm, No. It isnt. No matter what method you are talking about its going through the system memory every time. What do you think the "shared memory is". System memory. If you swap to that at all you will have nothing but problems with fps. You have your terms and ideas sort of out of wack.
Your GPU has 4GB of dedicated ram. it will sometimes make a copy of the bios in "shared" or sytem memory hence the .2 usage. This is ALL you want to see ever. If you see more, then you will be having stuttering and frame drops as the fast dedicated memory is having to talk to the slower sytem memory. No mater the name, any shared memory is still system and therefor a swap. So only worry about the dedicated memory and try and keep that .1 or so uder just so.
Understand the statement i said about only caring about the dedicated memory. The "specs" you listed for a 1050 are not what nvidia lists on their site. It is a 4gb card. If you EVER go over that the fps will almost certinly tank. And if you EVER get to the point of using HDD in a modern game... yah you have even worse... Just dont worry about it. Its just something windows shows. Matters more to people with APU and integrated grafics. The entry has almost zero relevence for people with a dedicated card.
You have a 4gb card. The drivers will do 100% everything in their power to avoid using shared system memory. For example my system memory is running at 3600mhz, I still wouldnt want to use it. Its not even half the speed. It will NOT help my fps. Would be much better off with settings till I get a good fps. In ark? There are a tonne of guides, but a 1050 is never gonna be a god.
