ragnarok broken.

i woke up today and installed the newest ark update, but when i entered the server i play on everyday i tamed me a few dinos and i was like " dang, i need to build a ramp for them to get into my base"
ive tried many diffrent spots, many diffrent foundations. But Nothing will place, ive treid a few minutes later and tried to place a smithy, but still nothing would place. Wildcard how did you break ragnarok.

Secondly its quite possible something is broken but we shalls ee

Rag is part of the official game. Even though it was created by modders, since it's part of the official game and released as an update to their server, they do have responsibility to ensuring it's not garbage before releasing a new update.

Then again... how often do they do that with the other content.

It is still not WC base team working on it, but the original mod crew instead. So direct your ire at the right people. However you can rant at WC for all the bugs still around in the island SE and now ABB

now the real question here today is, why do people get so angry if you mention one thing wrong about the game or if you get one thing wrong in a post.
like id rather educate myself for my algebra test than the full history of the creation of this game.

not angry, its just some people like to OPs who wanna place blame, atleast place it in the right place so they can understand, hopefully, why WC as a whole isnt jumping out of their seat to fix something

the moment ragnarok became an official mod, that same moment the modders of ragnarok became hired
so they are technically devs now, or atleast wildcard employees

they are not the original dev team that created ark
but they are wildcard devs nontheless

still doesnt hurt to let people know it isnt an entire company looking after a map, least it should help some people understand the rate of updates and fixes and explain design philosphies

no you are correct
but from what i understand wildcard in general still has the last say

example, ragnarok was allowed to include scorched earth content (much agaainst my will, but who am i.. i only bought the dlc) because the plans were pre-official

but now, the ragnarok team does not have carte blanche anymore, they have to follow rules like what can, and can't be done

so by this i think we can conclude that the ragnarok team, makes the stuff
and
that the actual wildcard team checks the stuff, and alters it if needed

also why we won't see aberration in any offical map, they are just not allowed

Just ran my server and I could do everything you said you couldnt.

I added vanilla and S+ ramps and smithys at my base. What else you say its broken?

I bet I can load it up again and do it.

While I agree, I am just tired of seeing posts where people push blame in the wrong directions, there was a guy ranting about WC not making Rag part of the story and how they were all lazy (naughty word here) for not making story for rag. I would just like these angry people to not look so idiotic and fire their ire at the right branch of devs atleast.
