oil from tamed trilobites?

figured out you can tame them with the basket but they do not seem to be producing any oil.. usless tame? or am i just missing something? please let me know cant find anything on them yet

I thought this could be a possibility too, like they "leak" oil from time to time. I kept a few around for a day. They did not produce results, so they were permantly upgraded to meat.

The basket taming is just worthless imo, you can't level what you tame from it and nothing you tame produces resources..its just a waste of time

well its mayber just a thing to do more ingame, not saying you have to make a use of everything we got ingame, like chairs..tables...radios...dodos...carbonem...^^

Tamed fish/trilo are little more than cosmetics.

If folks are wanting something that produces oil, whales and squid or beetles are the primary ones (cept on aberration as thats trils n beetles only really). However if one is able to use mods, Eco's scorched earth decor mod has a crafting cabin that has an engram in it for making an outhouse. Said outhouse processed poop 2x faster than beetles into oil and fert and also works with stacking mods.
