Aberration how to get oil?

atm my tride lives in the mushroom rupper area, but we wont be able to build a fabricator without oil, where does it spawn? is it close by?



also wtf is the gass used for onced arvested?

its to the south. if you follow the rivers you will end up there

The S+ Fab does. Idk about a normal one. Oil on the surface is a dangerous prospect even with a Charge Light Pet as Reapers spawn continually up there as well as seekers. During the daylight it's almost instant death! I tested this and 5 seconds of exposure almost killed me with 500 hp, broke all my hazard gear, and drained my Rock Drake from 14k hp to 3k....and that was 5 seconds...

fabricator and grill both run off gas not power so the battery dosnt work on them

tried them just to make sure. not sure about the fridge though

Tons of trilobites can be found in the lake in front of portal. They give decent enough oil when harvesting with axe or spino. Using a diplocaulus will maximize results and it's fun imo. Best way to get stacks of oil for early or solo tribes. Look along the walls too they get stuck in corners or ridges.

theres also a rare chance u can get oil from inside a seekers dead body but killing those are risky cause of where they live

With a chem bench you can make gas out of gas balls I believe.

u can but that needs 20 gas balls and 20 green gems and keep in mind u also need gasoline to run the chem bench and also a generator or a tek generator to power it

You can also use charge battery to power the chem bench so once you get just one gas you're pretty much set if you have a supply of gas balls and green gems.

true but to me its not that much of a recomondation since the batteries themselves are fairly expensive

Pretty sure batteries are intended to replace gas until you can master getting in and out of the deep rock drake neat area.
