Roll Rat

How do you tame a Roll Rat? Knocked one out - couldnt acces inventory. Tried passive Tame with Berries, Vege and Honey - no "put tame food in last inventory slot".

you must throw the honey exactly on the hole, if the Rat dig in the Ground.

it doesnt have to be exactly on the hole just wait for it to start the dig animation then throw the honey in its general direction when it surfaces again it will eat... if you do not throw it in time it will loose a bit of tame

Whatever you do, dont pick up any of the gems it digs out. It will agro on you and spoil the taming process.

I cannot get these guys interested in my honey. Anyone else have this problem?

Place the honey on your hotbar make sure you only place 1 I accidently tossed a stack once (doh), anyway follow it around and when it starts to dig hit the hotkey number to toss the honey and ideally if your facing the hole rollrat should start taming! :)

Bee hives spawn in random locations.

Finally got on yesterday. I had the problem that i dropped the honey out of my inventory with "o" - like eggs for titanoboa.
but you have to have the honey in your bar and press the hotkey to toss it ... xD
