Any way to disable the murshroom hallucination effect on Aberration?

Is there anyway to disable the visual effect given by walking through certain mushrooms on Aberration? It's very nauseating which makes it hard to play.

you might not be able to turn it off, but you can use a Aggeravic Mushroom to shield you from the hallucination if your thinking about diving into a bunch of red mushrooms

Well, I don't know if it's any help, but you can actually tell which red mushrooms will create the hallucination gas. Most of the common red mushrooms will have a rounded top, like Toad's head (from Mario). The mushrooms that will produce the gas have a more narrowed head... Kind of hard to explain it, but it will look more like a toque with a ball on top.

Probably doesn't really help, as it's not a very good solution, but it might help having to avoid all red mushrooms. and allow you to see where not to walk if you walk through these mushrooms. Aside from that, what fjottrik said will help with preventing the hallucination half, but sadly there's no way to remove the mushrooms or the visual effect that I know of (and I've tried going through the server files and trying to track down the duration of the effect to remove it, but didn't have any luck. I'm not too good with searching through files, but you may be able to do that on your own personal server to remove the effect from the mushrooms).

Well the effect is supposed to make it harder to play.. kinda the point.

Make yourself a gas mask.. that should stop the effect.

ahh skim readers take another look ...he ask a way to remove the visual effect not the debuff status.
it was cool the first time but its a bit of an over the top gimick effect the same goes for the earthquake item shower camera shake that isnt effected by the camera shake setting .. it would be very nice if you could change it to say the KO effect ..

I don't find the debuff to be much of a hindrance, and it may even have a way to reduce the duration of the visual effect, alone instead of the entire debuff.

Ride a high or fast dino,
eat some mushrooms against it,
run around those fieds are some options.

The "bad" red mushrooms looks at bit more red then others on the bottom.

The mushroom that halucinates is a pointy cap, and has a red stem in the batch. Give you bio toxin. The red dome white stem ones do not cause it.
