Sorry ? like i said im renting a server on nitrado and that is all the info i could get.
There is no such thing as a 54,269Ghz cpu.
There are no computers with 19,878 cores.
There is no computer with 132,511 GB of ram.
And none with 625TB of ssd's.
EIther this is a troll post and my original post stands. Or you are getting some stupid information from I don't know where.
This game uses up to about 3-4% of my old cpu that I run my servers on.
Well considering the Fact that the Information's about the Server you presented are just hilarious it's hard to help you in anyway.
Which Serverplan (Public or EPS Public) did you order and did you order any Performance Upgrades with it (Advanced, Professional, Ultimate) ?
These are serious answers. ^^
The problem here is, those specs are really high, and nitrado is a terrible server provider.
So either they're lying, hosting a virtual server with 1000+ more, or you're trolling.
Like you want high gathering, but the brontos lag the servers -> maybe decrease damage on brontos to gather less with them or activate clampresourceharvestdamage=true which disables the melee-damage dependency on gathering and reduces lag a lot on high gather rates.
Try to find out which mods put high loads on the server and then decide which ones you want to use. Some combinations of mods wont work together either. Just means more testing (disabling and enabling mods till you find a good config).
well no i'm not trolling. i seriously am trying to find a solution for the high CPU usage.
And the ram was kinda strange for me 2
I've searched on for other information about and could not find any.
I think the ram is about 5 or 6 GB.
The information im getting is fron nitrado.net
It's a EPS public server
There are no upgrades bought. so im guessing that the ram is about 5 or 6 GB
Nitrado is a rather dubious host, don't bother with them, go elsewhere.
The specs that they are providing are unreal, and to top it off, only 5-6GB with all of those unreal stats?
Something is seriously wrong there.
I understand that i have to try some different things with the settings.
Until last week i was running the server with Clampresourceharvestdamage=false.
Then i got a lot of complaints about the lag and got a tip about that and turned it to true.
Since then it was running just fine. Sometimes a bit of lag when someone was farming with the bronto. Which is normal on all servers as for what i understand.
So it's just it was running fine all along why is it getting a bit laggy and high CPU usage out of nowhere. This is kinda my issue
host havoc servers are ♥♥♥♥, 8gb of ram, and low bandwith, it starts rubberbanding at 8 players
Yeah, you have to be careful with virtual servers.
What I found what some companies do: they just add all the stats of the servers in their serverfarm and they argue that the virtual servers can be moved within their server farm to maximize performance.
Of course it doesnt tell you anything about how much performance your server will get at the end. And there might not even be a good measurement for that anyway.
What always works with problems on the provider (when you are sure its the provider and not your settings): Try the support. They help you -> all good, The dont help you -> Bad support, bad performance -> Change provider
Well only 5 or 6 GB. it should be ( to my knowledge ) be enough to run a server. and the average use of ram is about 3.5 GB.
So the ram is not really my problem here.
