Troodon not eating
Anyone else having this problem?
We tamed the Troodon and well, it's not eating. Even with force feed it's hunger won't change, but constantly gets lower.

Yes same problem - force feeding seemed to work for me, but otherwise with conscious or unconscious tamed or wild dinos, it doesn't bite and it won't eat from inventory or from feeding trough.

did you try raw prime?

That is not funny. If true then it would be a giant compie. Only ten times more annoying to tame.

I thought you had to 'let it hunt your tames' to tame it?
TheRevie Dec 25, 2016 @ 6:22am
Taming okay, that's one thing, but we already tamed it and it doesn't seem like it would eat... possible that you still need to let it hunt "living prey" so it will feed, but seriously... that would be just making this dino so annoying...

you need to tame a dino like a dodo and have it attack the troodon and when your tame dies to it, its taming bar will go up.

How many a dodo did you have to sacrifice? Just curious.

We didn't use dodos, but compys. And well, it's my own server, taming speed is quite high there.

According to Youtube videos you´ll need about 100 tamed Dodos for 1 Troodon.
I´ll give this some testing later on my own server.

I'm also having the problem. A mating pair of Troodons, on wander, with 102 regular raw meet in the feeder. Not eating.

I went and got some raw prime, put it directly in their inventory. They each were down in food about 50. Neither ate the raw prime. When I force fed the prime, the food returned to max.

Not sure if they will eat the raw prime if the food was down more. Will continue testing.

They have veeeeery low food consumption, i have an entire house full of those adorable critters, and they go like 1/4 food before needing to eat~

Ah their food level falls that low till they finally eat?
I didn't tame any Troodons anymore to be honest, so I can't really tell.

I had a Troodon die that was loaded up with all types of food. It just bled health for no reason and died. I just forcetamed another one and it doesn't seem to be having the same issue. go figure.

I just hatched three troodons and two of them died even with food in their inventory. The first one died while being in baby state, the second one died while being in juvenile state and near a filled through.
When I forcefed them the foodlevel fell faster that I could replace it, so I guess there is something majorly wrong.
