Almost all creatures can be tamed with any type of kibble. But only one kibble has the best effectiveness. The other types are worse than berries/simple meat. The Fertilized Megalosaurus Egg info and the other info in the removed table in the wiki was extracted from the game files. Maybe this algorithm doesn't work correctly for this version, but it worked in the past for other creatures. Also there could be some scripts in the game that change the behavior declared in the data files.

The arkpedia says this "Important Bug Notice: Therizinosaurus is coded in the game files to eat Fertilized Megalosaurus Eggs, however there is currently a bug that prevents the tame from being able to see the Fertilized Eggs in its inventory. So looks like a potato tame for now then.

Yesterday right after the patch had dropped I started to tame a lvl 112 one. It took me until 5 am..and this with taming 5x.. ;) From all the berries and veggies it prefered savoroot the most.
It ate all our narcotics, thausands of narcotics.. and then I had to use my trike to farm narcos as well, since we ran out of narcotics.
It seemed to me, that narcoberries work a lot better than narcotics in this case.
However, I went nuts since it took so long, BUT...this thing is unbelieveable! It is incredibly strong from the get go, without a single point invested it inflicts 230 dmg per hit and it hits very fast as well.
Furthermore it gathers berries, wood, meat and it is relatively fast. It is even stronger than my lvl 205 spino..

I tried fertilized mega eggs. It doens't work. It won't eat them.

There is no difference in which vegetable or which berries (except for mejoberries) it wants. They all have the same value, so it depends on the order in the inventory.

Yep, it should take the best value food no matter where it is and go by stack order if everything is equal, e.g. If you load a carnivore with Prime and Raw Meat it will eat the Prime first regardless of where in the inventory it is.

So when I read "recommended to postpone taming this dino until it is fixed" seeing how Ark will never fix bugs, I guess when the game launches in the next 3-5 years is when it will be fixed. Best of luck to you all ^^

Speaking that the problem was quickly solved I don't see a problem.

@gunner they fix bugs just not ones that require them to rebuild large amounts of the game as no point in doing that til they have added everything in.

Also the game is not far off from being finished they stoped releasing dossiers months ago and with the new creatures only 18 unreleased creatures remain with the next patch adding in 6 of them along with tek tier.

The "to be added" list is becoming rather small at the current development i'd say maybe 4-5 months til they hit the debug/optimization phase tho with how giant this game is that phase could easily go on for 6-9 months maybe more.

Then once the debug/optimization phase ends they will have to rebalance EVERYTHING then the game will finaly go out of earlie access and let the dlcs commence xD

As for the creature it looks amazing but i'll wait for it's fix.
