Try dodos, both tamed and wild?
Huldra Dec 23, 2016 @ 3:40pm
wiki mentioned something about letting them kill knocked out dinos....?
Firestorm672 Dec 23, 2016 @ 3:40pm
testing it out right now, just feed it 3 dodos, freshly tamed dodos, no taming bar or anything, may be a certain number?

I managed to get a taming bar but i did not go up. I tried knocked out dodos too and nothing.

Taken from the dossier.
"She told me that she let "Troody" hunt a few of her tribe's smaller creatures for sport, and it eventually started following her everywhere."

Ive tried having a dodo follow me and let the troodon kill it. tried it not following, tried it knocked out. it doesnt seem to want to attack dilos

yeah it seems to preffer dodos over anything else, i have a phomia in a pen with it and it just leaves it alone, also to note, its nocturnal stat seems to make it target humans more then anything, dosent even notice dodos

Try a whole herd of dodos?
Wo1f Dec 23, 2016 @ 4:03pm
Fed it dodos the bar shows up and no progress then it dissapears. Fed it parasaurs and dodos nothing works. It never seems interested in anything, rarely attacks my dodos.

This might sound weird, but have you guys tried a human? xD
" It specifically pack-hunts at night when we are most vulnerable, and sees humans as its primary prey." from dossier.

Or try feed it dodos at night.

for such small dinos, they are damn fast, hit hard, good health and seem to have a knockback??

if only i knew how to tame them

Since I am on singleplayer. I tried to test a bit around. I spawned in around 11 dodos in a pen, tamed them and made them follow me. I then spawned in the Troodon. It attacked them and killed them all and the taming bar went up, VERY little tho and then went away when there were no more dodos. After that it bugged and the HUD would no longer show up. It started to run away trying to get out of the pen even tho I placed more tamed dods (and some wild one) it acted like it was scared of them. I even spawned another Troodon but yeah.

Mind you I was on enemyinvisible true. It wouldn't focus on the dodos if I were anywhere near them.

I actually have, a tribe mate went in there so we can see what it does, no taming or anything sadly, but learned the thing has a delayed torpor effect
