Is it worth getting the ps4 version.

So ive owned ark on pc since release, and it is awesome the only problem is that i cant run it with anything higher then lowest settiings. Would it be worth investing in the ps4 version? I tend to play solo.

Don't think you'll get many useful answers here. PS4 version was barely released, give it time and find PS4 users that have had experience with it after a while.

PS4 has equivalent to a Radeon HD 7870. The graphics card is on par with a GTX 750 Ti. 8GB of DDR3 ram, and a 1.8ghz AMD octa-core
I have on my pc a gtx 650 ti, 8gb of ram and a amd 8320 3.5ghz 8core - and i have to run low graphics with about 75% scaling. and still struggle to push a 40 fps

The ps4 version is alot more expensive than the pc version. And won't look as good as the pc version even on low settings

yea so your not far from the console specs, so you can imagine they probably reduced the resolution to 900 and locked the frames at 30. It's basically getting the Watch Dogs settings on the IGN list.

To be honest you could throw £130 at your rig and enjoy ark on your pc with medium / high settings, a little more than the ps4 version granted but it xmas treat yourself don't sell yourself short :)

I think the answer to this question has nothing to do with specs or really anything else besides where do you have friends to play with? Games like this suck without honest friends to play with. I mean if you don't have any friends to play with on either I would think PC when the bundle is on sale for 42 like it is right now is a good idea if you have the hardware

no differance ..you on pc getting not more than 30 fps now on top line ,new rig.ps4 same.Ps4 better exclusives than the pc ,pretty bad.

i have ps4 and what u go through with the this pc version ..hell no not worth it.Even the pay to play dlc is not even finished or great.Why sucumb to self induced horror on both pc and ps4.Save the money for finished products.

on PC I get 45+fps with a 4th gen I7, and a GTX 980. That's on epic and at 2k resolution 1440p. PS4 will run the game with at 720p to maintain FPS. It does this with many games. If you get a PS4 Pro then it will run the game at 1080@30fps.

u get more than 40 fps ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ..screenies..

there isnt one thing good about it. vs a pc

only people with POTATO PC or no PC at all ( poor them )

will play on POTATO console

Played it all night, and i think its buggy as hell. Im not a fan but there are alot of people playing who do like it.

potato pc? potato console? if the game improves and u can transfer a accnt to ps4 i will try it .No transfer no way.already 4k plus hours in and going.

I bought it on console for the same reason ps4 actually, I don't regret it!
